TV2 highlights Pharma IT's focus on work-life balance through embracing flexible work
The Danish government’s proposal for extended working hours has raised a debate among businesses. While some businesses insist on strict adherence to a 37-hour, or more, work week, Pharma IT has taken a different approach. The company empowers its employees to organize their own work schedules through flexible working hours and a result-oriented approach.
Experienced consultants can choose for themselves how many hours they work
Pharma IT’s model enables employees with industry experience to choose how many hours they want to work. Employees receive a base salary along with a share of the revenue generated from the projects they complete with life-science companies. This flexibility allows employees to customize their work schedules to align with their individual preferences and priorities.
Flexibility is considered a competive advantage in recruitment
“If an employee wants to work 50 hours a week, we will find a task that suits that. And if they want to work 20 hours, we will find a task for that. Then, the employees can get training, have more free time or have a part-time job on the side. It is up to the individual,” shared Peter-Emil Iversen, Partner in Pharma IT. In this way, allowing employees to deviate from the traditional 37-hour working week has become a competitive advantage.
